Our home is fully dog-friendly with beds and blankets readily available in every room so your dog always has a cozy spot to lounge. The beds in the parlor leading to the patio are our dogs’ favorite as they love to doze off in a warm sunbeam while being close to the action. We offer cage-free boarding, so your pup sleeps in our bedroom and hangs out wherever we are. If you have crate-trained your dog we can accommodate that if that is your preference. Our property is treated with a pet and child-safe, organic tick and mosquito deterrent for added safety, comfort and peace of mind.

We offer daily FaceTime calls and/or updates via messaging apps. We can schedule convenient timeframes for those at the start of each boarding period.

Feeding and Medication

We recommend your dog stick to his/her regular diet and treats to keep their tummy happy. We can accommodate any feeding, supplement and medication regimen including glucose testing and subcutaneous insulin injections.

We frequent Turkey Mountain Preserve, the Kitchawan Preserve Trail & the trails at Sylvan Glen. Our property has a doggie pool, buckets of tennis balls for fetch, a huge dog run setup and plenty of shade. Our daily agenda is as follows:

AM potty walk, breakfast, post-breakfast potty walk, morning exercise in the dog run or 2 miles roundtrip to see the cows at the local farm, hangout inside with humans, midday potty walk, outdoor hangout with humans, afternoon nap, second wind exercise time: either fun in the dog run or a trail hike or lakeside walk, hangout with humans indoors while we prep family dinner, dinner time, potty break after dinner, August bedtime stories with the dogs, evening walk, a treat and bedtime. Any or all activities can be modified for each dog’s needs.

Transportation

We offer pick up and drop off to/from your home in NY/NJ/CT. Transportation pricing is based on distance and tolls. Transportation days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Arv will be your dog’s personal chauffeur. He likes classical music and classic rock—we hope your dog doesn’t mind…For transportation safety we will be using pet harnesses that lock into the seatbelt buckle. The car will also have dog beds for a comfortable ride.
